Service Overview and Service Objectives
· To gather and store data on community programs and community based services;
· To maintain the highest level of accuracy and quality of stored data, given available resources;
· To make available data and information to the whole of the Wimmera - Mallee regional community including individuals, government, community organisations and private companies;
· To undertake research and projects which relate to the provision of information;
· Free impartial and confidential information and referral in response to requests for assistance;
· Also provides a listening ear and will assist with filling in forms;
· All requests treated confidentially by trained volunteers;
· Tax help is available to assist low income earners complete their tax returns, by appointment, July – October.
